RVUinUSA collects only the information needed for the calculator workflow, PDF follow-up, and aggregate product analytics described below.
Calculator inputs
Calculator requests can send the fields needed for validation and server-side recalculation. Usage statistics store only daily aggregate counts by event and calculator. They do not store full calculator inputs, contract text, notes, protected health information (PHI), patient identifiers, or result objects.
Do not enter protected health information, patient identifiers, or confidential contract text into calculator fields. Use summarized economic terms when evaluating an offer.
PDF download email form
If you submit your email in the PDF download form, RVUinUSA stores your email address, optional name, source calculator, source path, consent status, and created/updated timestamps. The email is used for PDF download follow-up and, only when you check the update option, RVUinUSA tool updates. You can skip the form and download the PDF anonymously.
Our current operational retention targets are 30 days for download-only records and 180 days for records that allow follow-up, measured from the last update. You may request deletion or stop follow-up by contacting support@rvuinusa.com. Exported CSV files are kept in a controlled location only as long as needed and no longer than 30 days.
Usage statistics
The core plugin records aggregate daily counts for calculator views, calculation success or error, result copies, PDF gate opens, email submissions, PDF download success or error, and skipped email forms. These records do not include raw calculator payloads, contract text, notes, PHI, or result objects.
